
Yvonne Okoro makes a U-Turn, claims the bridal shower is for her sister – Video
After receiving congratulatory messages on her Instagram caption, Yvonne Okoro revealed that the bride-to-be was her niece.

When she posted a video of herself enjoying a good time with her parents, it was widely assumed that she was the bride. The actress came out to clear the air after being inundated with goodwill messages and vibes.
‘Her latest edited caption,’ she says;
“A fun bridal shower for my sister. I see how happy you all are in my comments for me. So I had to edit and say, “No Nope. It’s not mine. Amen to all your blessings and well wishes in my life. I receive. Have a good day.”
Please accept our apologies for the disappointment; we all know how excited we were for our favorite actress. We would undoubtedly shower her with affection and positive vibes in the near future.

Chinyere is a chinese word that means ” Yvonne Okoro is a Ghanaian actress who was born in Nigeria. Born in Nigeria to a Nigerian father and a Ghanaian mother.
Yvonne Okoro hails from Koforidua in Ghana’s Eastern Region. For her films Pool Party and Single Six, she won the Ghana Movie Awards Best Actress Award in 2010 and was nominated for the Africa Movie Academy Awards Best Actress twice in a row in 2011 and 2012.
She has also won four Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards, as well as a Distinguished Achievement Award from the Nigeria Excellence Awards in 2012.

As the first born of her mother and the sixth of her brothers, she comes from a big family. She has always wanted to be an actress since she was a child. She began her education at Achimota Preparatory School, then transferred to Lincoln Community School, and finally to Faith Montessori School.
She pursued her education at Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School before enrolling at the University of Ghana, Legon, to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in English and Linguistics. She went on to study Press Civilization, Drama, and Marketing at the Universite de Nantes in France.
Just after her Senior High Education, she made her screen debut in Sticking to the Promise, a 2002 film produced by Nigerian director Theo Akatugba. She also appeared in a cameo role in the hit Point Blank Media Concepts series Tentacles, which was created by the same director.
Dinning with Cooks and Braggarts is her latest show. Cooks and Braggarts is a celebrity culinary program in which well-known people demonstrate how they prepare their favorite meals while discussing different subjects.
She revealed to Accra-based radio station Peace FM that she is the owner of Desamour Company Limited. As well as other modes of transportation.

She made a donation to the Ghanaian Black Queens ahead of the 2019 WAFA tournament. She also contributed several things to the Korle bu Teaching Hospital’s maternity ward at the start of 2020.
