Students design their own G-wagon from scrap metal, ask for support to complete the car.

A group of Nigerian young men have wowed social media with their creativity and imagination.
The boys showed off images of a Jeep prototype they had built out of local materials.

The brilliant students of Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, demonstrated how they used locally sourced irons and other materials to come up with the automobile design in a post on their Facebook page, Creative Tinker Tech.

They also asked the government and well-intentioned Nigerians to help them develop their entrepreneurial skills in order to help the country’s economy.

On Facebook, the students posted pictures with the caption:

“Explore innovation in a new light as students from Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, reveal an amazing AUTOMOBILE DESIGN as a means of navigating the technological world.

“This is yet another touch in the area of technological development, as well as mind-blowing creative reflections.

“Stay tuned as we keep you updated on this Innovation on a regular basis.

“We are using this medium to seek sponsorship from the general public in order to complete this DESIGN.

“During the Designing of this Prototype, insufficient funding was a bottleneck.”
