“NPP will win in 2024 if Bawmia becomes flagbearer”- Allotey Jacobs

Allotey Jacobs, the suspended member of the National Democratic Congress, has urged the group to coil back and reorganize the party for 2024 as they might face the shocks of their lives in 2024 should Vice President Bawumia be present in the New Patriotic Party.

According to him, if the group proceeds to thread on the tangent that they now are, if the NPP can field Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, they would obtain the shock of their lives.

Allotey Jacobs, who spoke on Happy FM based in Accra, suggests that the challenge ahead of the NDC in 2024 is herculean if Bawumia is made the NPP’s flagbearer since the Vice President has made political room inroads.

He suggested that because of the Bawumia impact, even the five regions of the North, which was the NDC stronghold, are steadily dropping to the NPP, and it is high time the NDC recognizes this and works to battle back for its numbers.

It is a herculean job, and I keep thinking that you may not see it now, but it is going to be a boom when you start seeing it. I do not know the material he is made of, but he changed the discourse when you look at our political room, and you see, the Northern area was for NDC, but you see the NPP’s inroads? So I am assuming that he is feeding into room steadily.

The NDC is currently in court since the 2020 elections to question the legitimacy of the declaration of the 2020 elections rendered by Jean Mensa and even demand an order for a rerun from the supreme court of the land since no political party secured the elections for him.
