“No one from the school has visited us after our daughter’s death”- Parents of Leticia

Ghpage TV had an exclusive interview with the parents of Leticia Kyere, who reportedly committed suicide, and they told their side of the story.

Leticia is 14 years old, according to her mother, not 17 or 16 as some media outlets have stated.

Williams Kyere the father disclosed that he received a call about 8 p.m. on Monday to inform him of the tragic incident, so he drove all the way from Wenchi to Sunyani.

When he arrived at the school, he was informed that the area where her daughter was hanging had been cordoned off and that the police were on their way.

He went on to say that when the cops came and he was allowed to enter the room where his daughter was, he found that Leticia was not hanging, as is common in suicides, but rather standing up.

When the body was taken to the regional hospital, the doctor in charge advised them that nothing indicated she had committed suicide after examining the body and also went on to mention some signs of suicide.

Mr. Kyere disclosed that her family found a stain on her palm and believes that her blood was drawn and used for personal gain.

According to the previous article, the student’s picture was discovered hanging in the dining hall on Monday evening.
