Lydia Forson has voiced grave concerns about the country’s future under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s leadership.

As per the award-winning screen goddess, the Ghana that “we want” will not be realized in four years.
“It will be unrealistic to have these expectations of anyone in power,” she stated in a tweet sighted by Arenagh.com.
About this, she believes it is possible to set the groundwork for reform, noting, “Our only fear now is that we do not see the foundation for it…”
In previous tweets, Forson has expressed her dissatisfaction with President Akufo-Addo’s results.

She characterized the president’s success after replacing the so-called “incompetent” John Dramani Mahama as “mediocre” in one of her tweets.
“My biggest frustration with this government is that for years, they sold themself as the solution to all of Ghana’s problems- but see,” she wrote.
She said, acknowledging that the government has had some positive policies:
“But you didn’t promise us average, you promised EXCEPTIONAL?!! So what happened?”
