“Don’t convert your Cedis salary to Dollars, you will get a heart attack”- YFM host

Erskine Amo Whyte, better known as Rev Erskine, a Ghanaian radio presenter, has urged Ghanaians not to convert their monthly salaries to US Dollars to prevent heartbreak.

It is a reality that jobs in Ghana do not pay well. In order to determine how much their work pay is worth in American currency, some citizens convert their paycheck to the US Dollar.

However, according to the YFM host, knowing how much money you make in dollars versus Ghanaian cedis will place you in a coma for a few days.

His words come as young people fight the government for what they call economic inequality and poor governance, which may be the solution to the country’s many problems.
