Bryce Christopher Young, a quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide in American football, was born on July 25, 2001, in Philadelphia. He afterward moved to Pasadena, California, where he spent most of his adolescence.

In 2021, he received a number of awards, including the Heisman Trophy. He currently owns the Alabama quarterback record for the most passing yards in a single game (559).

After attending Cathedral High School in Los Angeles, Young played his final two years of high school football at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, California.
