On SVTV Africa, an alleged thief and former member of the Winneba Youth Choir who was asked to sing at the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) has finally explained what happened.

Henry Acquah Samson, as he is known in private, revealed that he went to the UEW hostel to search for someone, but that the person he was looking for appeared to be unavailable.

”I was looking for a student who gives me money for food on a regular basis. After knocking repeatedly and receiving no response, I noticed a cylinder on the porch. He told hist, DJ Nyaami, “Just as I took the cylinder, a guy came out.”

He went on to say that a group of students gathered shortly after, but that “one of them recognized me as a singer and asked me to sing.” I apologized because it was incorrect.”

Henry is a recovering opioid addict and a former member of the Akoo Show choir, a Winneba-based musical group, as well as the Winneba Youth Choir.
