Actress Juliana Olayode of ‘Jenifa’s diary’ says she quit acting because of kissing scenes.

Olayode Juliana, a Nollywood actress and author, has revealed why she stopped acting and other details about her life.

In a discussion session called “Real Talk: Young Adult Edition,” hosted by relationship coach and clergy Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo and attended by Taymesan, Obichi, Olumide Owuru, and herself, Olayode Juliana revealed that she would never kiss anyone other than her husband.

Juliana Olayode claimed that she never intended to be a role interpreter and instead wanted to be a newscaster when asked how she got into acting. However, life did not go as well as she had hoped, and she was forced to work because she was unable to pay for her schooling after being accepted. She revealed that her friend started inviting her to auditions at this stage, and she decided to go to one just to kill time.

Juliana Olayode revealed that she stopped going to auditions until finally landing on Jenifa’s Diary, claiming that many of the auditions required her to kiss, which she disliked.

“The big break came when I went for Jenifa’s Diary. I didn’t even prepare for Jenifa’s Diary because, at some point, I said okay, I’m not going to act again. Every time I go for an audition, they want me to kiss in a movie”, she said. Facing the camera, she went on, “… and I’m never going to kiss in a movie. I’m only kissing my husband”.
